Your privacy matters
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes, and we’re thrilled to be launching the first beta version of Oshn, our new CBT-based app for Low Mood & Reduced Motivation, in a limited access pilot for young people in Merseyside (UK).
Your privacy during the pilot
Thank you for your interest in participating in this research project which is a collaboration between academics (M-RIC) based in Liverpool and BFB, a UK based company who create software. BFB have created an App called ‘Oshn’ which is designed to support the self-management of low mood and reduced motivation
During the project your personal information is processed by BFB with your consent. If you wish to withdraw your consent at any time then you can. Please read the full Notice below for how to do this.
As part of the project you will be asked to download Oshn. Before you use it you will be asked to provide some initial personal information. During the project which will last 8 weeks you will be asked to complete a questionnaire within Oshn. This is so that progress as you continue to use Oshn can be measured.
When you use Oshn information about your use of it will be made available by BFB to M-RIC for them to consider it as part of their research. Please see the full Notice below for what is shared.
BFB make use of your information to consider your feedback on Oshn but mainly to enable us to provide information that M-RIC need to conduct their research. The results of the research will be communicated to BFB who may then make changes to Oshn.
If you wish to know more about what personal information is collected and why, your data protection rights, how to complain etc. please read the full Privacy Notice by clicking the link at the bottom of this page.
